Val di Pejo
Ski Area
The Pejo3000 Ski Area is proudly the first plastic free ski area in the world. Made up of a total of 20 kilometers of slopes and 7 lifts, Pejo3000 is only a small part of the Stelvio National Park, yet its commitment to environmental sustainability has become a sounding board for all the surrounding plants. Skiing is practiced by people who love nature, who yearn to be outdoors even with a few degrees, and who let themselves be carried away by the emotions that the Trentino peaks offer. For this reason they look for places where they feel protected and which are innovative in their choices and intentions.
Since 2019 the Pejo3000 Ski Area has been devoid of crockery, straws, glasses, plastic bottles, everything that is disposable is banned from these white slopes.
Here family fun goes hand in hand with the awareness that less waste means less CO2 in the air and less air pollution. The ski resort has shown that it is at the forefront in taking a position and creating within its facility experiences of value and environmental awareness that are crucial for the future of the planet as much as for areas as delicate as mountain ones.
In this way it is possible to face the drop in temperatures and the risk of not being able to have these beautiful snow-capped peaks available in which to live such memorable experiences.
